Lanesborough Hotel

Value: £50,000.00
Date: July 17

The project at the Lanesborough Hotel involved the complete isolation of existing services and decommissioning of the existing spa area. This made way for a new award winning hair styling salon, a personal training "gym studio" and a series of back of house offices for management staff.

Our scope of works consisted of all associated electrical works win relation the project, this included, LV Distribution, Small Power, Containment Systems and mechanical supplies. The works involved a comprehensive new lighting scheme to suit new internal layouts, this was predominately LED lighting, Up-lights, Down-lights and "linear LED strip lighting" throughout many of the custom built joinery items. All new luminaires are controlled by a custom built lighting control panel based which expanded on the hotels existing infrastructure, this provided the end users with simple scene set plates to change the ambience of all areas at the touch of a button and integrated the whole area onto the hotels "head end" lighting control system for centralised control.

Our works incorporated design information from the project team of interior designers, M & E Consultants, bespoke joinery manufacturers and many specialist finishing trades. We also managed several incumbent contractors which included fire alarm, communications services and Audio Visual Equipment.

One of the challenges the project team faced with such works was to bring all of these services together in a seamless manner whilst not affecting the fully live and operational 5 star hotel.
